Prairie Quilt Mercantile

Prairie Quilt Mercantile, the creative partnership of Sharon Smith and Devon Lavigne, is a design studio and quilt shop in the heart of the Canadian prairies.

We’re now into our fifth year, and as well as finding our groove, we’ve also found we are resolutely in love with reproduction fabrics. In fact, we’re so passionate about them you'll see that these fabrics play a starring role in our designs.

We love vintage, but not vintage for its own sake. Our designs must also put a new face on reproduction fabrics. Each one absolutely captures the essence of what we’re about: the infusion of a fresh look in the reproduction market that applies to the quilter of today.

We believe our designs will target what we see as an approaching trend - a fresh, smart, prairie-inspired style with an invigorating edge. We hope you share our enthusiasm and our vision: vintage fresh designs for a new generation of quilters.
